You might have seen a symbol on the minimap in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 while exploring the game's world that resembles a climbing tool. You may have also noticed a few walls that appear to be an odd color in relation to their surroundings. Approaching these walls does nothing at first. Before you may interact with walls, you must first unlock the ability to climb them. After that, you'll be ascending to unfathomable heights.
How to unlock wall climbing in Xenoblade Chronicles 3
After you make a little bit of progress through the story, you will be able to climb walls. Don't worry if you haven't reached Chapter Three yet because you must do so to acquire the ability. Colony 4 will benefit from your assistance in Chapter 3 when you find Ethel and free her colony. You will move south to Elsie's Spout once that section of the game is finished. How to climb walls
Once you obtain the ability, climbing walls is really easy. Pay attention to your map and hunt for the emblem that resembles a climbing pick to find climbable locations. You'll notice purple walls once you get to a place where you can climb them. There is no requirement that you engage with the walls in any way. Simply walking into the walls will cause the character you are controlling to begin climbing.
