Xenoblade Chronicles 3: How to open locked supply drops

In Xenoblade Chronicles 3, you'll encounter a number of supply drops along the way that, when opened, will reveal rare goods, food ingredients, and Nopon money. In Xenoblade Chronicles 3, there is a prerequisite you must fulfill in order to be able to unlock the locked supply drops, so you won't start receiving supply drops right away. How to unlock a supply drop in Xenoblade Chronicles 3

You must take out every adversary in the area of a supply drop before you can open it. A notice advising you to eliminate all nearby enemies will appear if you attempt to open the drop without first eliminating the enemies. There are times when you'll encounter aerial adversaries that are difficult to see from a distance, giving you the impression that there are no enemies close to the drop. Because of this, you should always double-check the location of the supply drop.

Simply get close to a supply drop and press A on the controller to interact with it after taking out all adjacent adversaries. By doing this, you will receive all the potential goodies inside the supply drop once it is opened. It's important to note that the supply drops won't appear in the game until you complete Chapter 3's "No Want of Courage," Ethel's Hero Quest. When available, they'll appear at random locations around the map. You'll be able to see the drop because of the enormous red smoke trail that will surround it when it eventually touches down.
