Can Starly Be Shiny in Pokemon GO?
In Pokemon Go, Starly is and can become Shiny on the event's community day. On July 17, between 11:00 and 14:00 local time, it is more frequent in the wild. Additionally, you can find it by completing the Field Notes special research missions as well as photobombs and other random encounters. A 2x chance of earning XL Candy is present when the normal and flying types of pocket monsters are caught during the event. On July 17, Staravia will also participate in four-star raids between the hours of 14:00 and 19:00 local time, and for 30 minutes, its base starter will be visible within a 300-meter radius of the gym where the raid took place.

In Pokemon Go, Starly can evolve into Staraviar and Staraptor, while Staraptor's gust move is only available on community days.
