How to Get Character Tickets in MultiVersus

Many people may be disappointed to learn that, at the moment, buying the Founder's Packs is the only option to gain Character Tickets. The number of tickets you receive will depend on the package you choose. This item appears to be a paid exclusive right now. This does not exclude the potential of them earning them in the future. The only way to actually acquire characters without having to spend real money on them is to grind, though, as it is behind a paywall. Fortunately, this game's grinding involves battling other players. The coins build up whether you win or lose, especially when you have toast.

Additionally, by playing with other characters and getting them up to level 5, you'll receive large currency bonuses. You will receive 100 gold coins for each character in their advancement paths. Counting up, there will eventually be 19 characters on the roster. You would easily earn 1,900 gold if you leveled up every character to at least level 5. You'll have more than enough money left over once you've completed that to purchase one or two more characters. After all, this is a free-to-play game, so some kind of microtransaction support is required. Fortunately, these microtransactions don't enhance gameplay in any way, so everyone is actually on equal footing.

Furthermore, because most of the game is played online, you can always visit The Lab or play locally to get a true sense of how a character performs. Unless you have infinite time, you can not play every character on the roster.
