MultiVersus: How to taunt

In any competitive video game, it's a long-standing custom to brag to your opponents when you outperform them in any way. Taunting is widely regarded as a pleasant technique to quickly see more of your character's personality emerge, regardless of how badly you disgrace them. In fighting games like MultiVersus, each character is given a unique set of taunts that illustrate how they would respond in certain scenarios. Here is a list of MultiVersus taunts.

How do you taunt in MultiVersus?

In MultiVersus, taunting is as simple as pressing a button. To utilize an emote while playing on a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, simply click the matching D-pad button. Your default emotes will initially be set to "Up." Your PC's default emote controls are T (or 1, 2, 3, and 4). Just like you would on a console, press the emote assigned to that key.

By default, each character's emoted is set to Up on the controller, T, or 1 on the keyboard, and 1. By going to Collection, picking the character, and then choosing their emotes next to their character photo, you can change them out. More emotes can be obtained through completing battle pass levels or by purchasing them with Gleamium. The only way to obtain new emotes is to spend real money in the game unless they are available in the battle pass's free tier.

While some people might be disappointed that they won't be able to receive new emotes for their preferred character for free, it's crucial to keep in mind that MultiVersus is a free-to-play game and that emotes aren't really necessary to enjoy the experience. If you're going to purchase Gleamium, put it toward a character's permanent unlocks or the battle pass instead of an emote.
