Pokémon Go: How Clamperl’s evolution work
In Pokémon Go, Clamperl is a rare Pokémon that can be discovered in the wild. As a water-type, you have a good chance of finding it close to water bodies, such as rivers, lakes, or the beach. Clamperl has two evolutions when it is captured, and if you already possess one of them, you might want to evolve it into that form. Has Clamperl figured out a Pokémon Go evolution trick?
Does Clamperl have an evolution trick in Pokémon Go?
We can confirm that Huntail and Gorebyss evolved randomly from Clamperl. When giving a Pokémon 50 candies, there is no evolution trick you may use to try to catch it. The best course of action if you want to get both of Clamperl's evolutions is to catch many Clamperl so you have a ready supply of them to evolve. You need to have at least 100 Clamperl candies in order to make sure you have enough candies. Unfortunately, evolution is a game of chance. There is a possibility that you might capture two Huntails or two Gorebyss even if you train two distinct Clamperl to evolve into their respective forms. To find Clamperl, you should often be on the lookout for it and do searches near beaches.
Huntail is the worse choice for Gorebyss among the two. Although these two Pokémon can evolve from Clamperl at random, they do not share the same stats. Gorebyss can have a maximum CP of 2,820, 211 attacks, 179 defenses, and 146 stamina. Huntail is surpassed by Gorebyss because of its superior attack, but the two share every other stat. Huntail can employ dark and ice-type moves, but Gorebyss has access to fairy and psychic strikes.
