Every combat you encounter will involve the application of special arts. As they level up and advance through the story, each character will learn a variety of arts. Each art has a cooldown after being used, but depending on your class, there are multiple ways to recharge them. In Xenoblade Chronicles 3, you can refresh your art in this manner.
How to recharge Arts in Xenoblade Chronicles 3
Each character and class has a special set of abilities known as the arts. These abilities are diverse in number and vary greatly in severity. Arts with significant cooldowns before they can be used again include those that deal damage, heal allies, and debuff opponents. Various techniques exist for reducing the cooldown of these arts, and the kingdom each character class hails from dictates how they can recharge their arts. Keves and Agnus are these kingdoms, and each class must follow its own set of rules in order to frequently use the arts in combat. The nucleus of your party consists of six people. Keves is where Noah, Lanz, and Eunie are from. From Agnus are Mio, Taion, and Sena. These two countries each have a special way of revitalizing their arts.
Keves Classes
There is only one way for the class of Arts in the kingdom of Keves to refuel. Kevesi Art gauges will gradually fill up on their own. These arts always return at the same time during battle, barring special benefits.
Agnus classes
There are two ways for the kingdom of Agnus to replenish their class arts. Their arts class won't instantly refill, unlike Keves'. Your character's art gauge will be slightly refilled with each automatic attack they launch. Attack cancels can be used to quickly recharge Arts with Agnus classes. Use art as soon as your auto-attack connects with an enemy to stop the animation and start the chosen art. If done correctly, you'll notice a little white flash above your character and a substantially faster-than-normal filling of the art gauge.
In order to use sophisticated battle mechanics, it will be essential to understand how to take advantage of each class's recharging strategy. Use these abilities to routinely execute art combinations and mastery of arts in difficult situations.
