As you battle the pirate hideouts that are storing artifacts of the Darkness for Eramis and her lord, the Witness, The Sharpshooter Iriks, is the second target. Eido made reference to Iriks' deadly shooting during the assignment, and he spends the first part of the interaction taking potshots to demonstrate this. As you try to beat the Sharpshooter and get back the stolen money, you will face more enemies like him when you face him directly.
How to beat Pirate Hideout: The Sharpshooter in Destiny 2
The Sharpshooter's activity is swift and nasty, just like the Brute Pirate Hideout. It shouldn't take you more than 10 minutes to finish, but you should be ready for regular enemy attacks and for Iriks to place a few roadblocks in your way.
Enter Iriks, the Sharpshooter’s Hideout Open the Door
Once the encounter has loaded, leap over the rocks to a snow-covered area where several fallen adversaries are skulking. Once you've eliminated every one of them, you won't be able to move on. Thankfully, all you'll encounter here are a few sniper Vandals and some dregs. After you finish the first area, go to the door and use the Skeleton Key when asked to.
Locate Iriks
A chilly tunnel populated with opponents that have died lies beyond the entrance. As you enter the room, you'll be climbing up a long ramp that runs down the left side of the space as you make your way forward. Iriks takes as many photographs as he can while standing at an overlook with a complete view of the space. Climb the ramp until you reach a different door. A smaller area with a few more fallen to kill and another door at the back is beyond the second door. Go through and around the corner to the chamber where Iriks is waiting.
Take Down the Sharpshooter
Take a minute to grab the heavy ammo box that spawns when you initially enter the area with Iriks. All of your weapons will be refilled, which will make the battle simpler. As soon as you enter, Iriks summons three red-bar Sniper Shanks, and until they are vanquished, he is impervious. The best course of action is usually to eliminate Sniper Shanks fast because they deal a lot of damage if left unchecked.
Iriks will be exposed once you've dealt with the Sniper Shanks. Whatever you have, concentrate all your damage on him. He has a lot of health and can deal a lot of damage, so make full use of your strongest tools. Iriks will turn impervious once again after he loses a third of his health, and three additional Sniper Shanks will appear. Once he loses another third, he can destroy them to cause damage, drop his shield, and then repeat.
Claim the Relic.
Soon after Iriks is defeated, the relic's purple shield will fall, allowing you to take possession of it. Once you hear the dialogue for the quest's conclusion, go back to the H.E.L.M. to place it.
