It's finally time for Fortnite and Dragon Ball to combine! With the release of the v21.40 update, Epic Games has included a ton of new material, most of it based on well-known anime. For the first time in the history of video games, players will get the opportunity to employ recognizable figures like Goku and Vegeta. This will likely be the biggest Fortnite partnership to date, given how well-liked Dragon Ball is and how many fans it has worldwide. The cosmetic items that came with the new update are carefully examined in this article. Along with the four new outfits, Epic Games has also updated the game's cosmetics with new emotes, back bling, and other items.
Four main skins coming with Fortnite x Dragon Ball collaboration
Two new trailers were made available on YouTube as soon as Epic Games published the v21.40 update. One was a gameplay trailer, while the other was a promo for the Fortnite x Dragon Ball partnership. The four previously leaked skins were among the many new cosmetics that were seen in both videos. With the latest update, Fortnite gamers will be able to employ Goku, Vegeta, Beerus, and Bulma. The most costly skin is Goku, which costs 2,000 V-Bucks to purchase.
Vegeta, meanwhile, costs 1,800 V-Bucks. Beerus, which costs 1,500 V-Bucks, is the third most costly skin. If you want Bulma, you'll need to fork over 1,200 V-Bucks. It seems that Goku and Vegeta will each have four distinct fighting styles. While Beerus will only have one type, Bulma will have two. Outfits will also be available for purchase in packages for players. Goku and Beerus will be in one bundle, while Vegeta and Bulma will be in the other. Players can get the characters for less money by buying bundles.
Other cosmetic items
There are several sprays and emoticons in the Fortnite x Dragon Ball partnership, which not many players use. By completing Power Unleashed tasks, you can acquire them. The Shenron Glider, the ultimate prize for completing these tasks, may be acquired by gathering all seven Dragon Balls. Players will have two weeks to unlock this free gift. With the most recent partnership, the game has also gained two new emotes. The first one, Charging Up, changes the appearance of characters to a new aesthetic. Fusion is a synchronized emote that is the second one.
Four new pickaxes and a loading screen have also been included in the game thanks to the Fortnite x Dragon Ball cooperation. The Nimbus Cloud was formerly thought to be just another accessory. To be used in the gameplay, Epic Games has chosen to introduce it as a mythic item. Kamehameha will also be available to players as another Mythic ability. The skill won't be accessible in competitive game types, but it will be available through a unique delivery created by Capsule Corp.
