Where to start the Legendary Llama Locator Achievement in Guild Wars 2

Only the Dry Top map, which is on the western edge of Kryta, contains the Legendary Llamas. You don't need a mount to travel to the places we'll be showing you because Dry Top is an old map that was made before the Mounts or Gliding Mastery systems were developed. However, if you happen to be in possession of a Springer or a Skyscale, the entire process will be made simpler. If you don't have those yet, another option is to utilize Zephyrite Crystals to go to the locations where the llamas are.

On the east side of the map, within the abandoned mine, is where you'll find the first llama. Please be aware that this location only becomes accessible after the Rescue the Captive Zephyrites event. Only after that will you be able to enter the cave and finish the mission. You must find the quicksand river after entering the cave and moving down the ramp. At the conclusion, there will be a small cave that you can enter using your Skyscale or the Light Dash crystal. If you don't yet have a Skyscale, you can use a skimmer to protect yourself from sand damage or ask a helpful Mesmer to the portal you somewhere else. After entering the cave, you must ascend to the upper level, which can be reached via a springer, skyscale, or lightning pull.

You must go to the Raptor Prowl Point of Interest. The Raptor Prowl is at the top of the map, in a way resembling a canyon. You can get to the Llama by using a springer to jump up, a skyscale to fly, or crystals to bounce about. It is located in the top right corner of the region.

To reach the wreckage above the Vine Bridge Waypoint, you must start from that location. Around this area, there are some Earth Elementals that you must either avoid or combat. After getting passed them, you must cross the opening and search for the small, ominously placed bush that hides the break in the canyon wall. You can hop across it, and the llama will be waiting for you on the other side.
