Sea of Thieves: Where do you sell an enemy’s Captain’s Logbook?

With the arrival of the Sea of Thieves Season 7 updates comes a whole new array of chances to loot and pillage throughout the wild seas. One of those modifications is the ease with which opposing pirates can steal the Captain's Logbook and sell it as plunder. Get ready to set sail when you obtain one of these valuables because just one location will purchase them from you. In Sea of Thieves, this is where you must go to sell an enemy's captain's logbook.

Where to sell a Captain’s Logbook in Sea of Thieves

In Sea of Thieves, the Captain's Logbook keeps track of all of a ship's activities, including kilometers traveled, fish taken, and details about the crew at the time. Your logbook isn't always secure, though. In order to collect it from the wreckage, opposing pirate crews may sink your ship. They may even sneak on board and grab it from you as you sleep. Once you have one, you should go to The Reaper's Hideout to look for The Reaper's Bones. They are your go-to location for offloading all kinds of commodities and valuables, and they are located in tile I12 of your map.

They will purchase your stolen logbook and see to it that you receive full compensation for your work. The logbook's tier, which rises in value the longer your captained ship has been lost, will determine how much they pay for it.

  • Noteworthy Logbook (0-6 days since sinking) – 300 gold
  • Accomplished Logbook (7-14 days since sinking) – 2,500 gold
  • Remarkable Logbook (15-19 days since sinking) – 10,000 gold
  • Extraordinary Logbook (20 or more days since sinking) – 25,000 gold

You can see that capturing a ship with only a noteworthy logbook won't net you too many benefits. However, if you're fortunate enough to come across an extraordinary notebook, you need to head straight for the Reaper's Hideout as soon as possible to avoid having that priceless find stolen from you.

Can you sell your own Captain’s Logbook?

While technically possible, selling your own Captain's Logbook after sinking will only get you one gold, just like selling your own Emissary Flag.
