Each character in the anime universe is well-known for their personalities as well as their greatest achievements and intellect. Because of their unique views on justice and unfairness, several adversaries have amassed a sizable following over time. However, some villainous characters seek to wreak havoc and ruin just because they like it. Some of these psychotic people don't have empathy or compassion from birth, while others get these traits after terrible things happen to them.
10. Raiga Korusuki (Anime: Naruto)
Naruto has a vast cast of characters, but the plot still features a number of insane shinobi. But the most underappreciated figure, Raiga Korusuki, has established himself as the most twisted person. Danzo Shimura was a psychopath, but at least he knew what he wanted. Hidan, on the other hand, was merely a crazed lunatic with a pea brain. Raiga, however, grew truly insane since he enjoyed torturing and murdering innocent people. Because of his strange belief, which states that people will have a greater perspective on life when they die, Raiga loves to bury people alive. He even used to cry at their funerals, which just goes to show how twisted and sadistic he was.
9. Hisoka Morow (Anime: Hunter x Hunter)
Hisoka is without a doubt the evilest character in Hunter x Hunter because he was a former member of the Phantom Troupe and one of its main foes. He has done a lot of things throughout the years that are unforgivable sins. Hisoka is a vicious sociopath who enjoys letting his victims bleed to death. Additionally, he enjoys experiencing intense pain since it satisfies his sadomasochistic desires. Even though Hisoka is very strong and smart like a genius, what people fear most about him is his strange personality.
8. Lucy (Anime: Elfen Lied)
Kaede, the main character of Elfen Lied, has three personalities, the evilest and terrible of which is Lucy. As a result of being a Diclonius-human hybrid, Kaede has experienced a lot of bullying as a result of being shunned by society. She lost trust in people as a result of going through such horrific and painful experiences as seeing her dog killed by bullies. Without feeling guilty, Lucy used to murder entire families so she could use their homes. Her instincts as a Diclonii were simply to slay people to her heart's satisfaction. Even the father and sister of Kouta, a lifelong friend, were murdered by Lucy.
7. Midari Ikishima (Anime: Kakegurui Midari)
Due to her bizarre demeanor, the main character in Kakegurui's spin-off series, Kakegurui Midari, Midari Ikishima, gained enormous popularity. In order to pay off the debt to Kirari Momobani, the head of the Student Council at Hyakkaou Private Academy, Midari stabbed herself in the eye with an ink pen. Midari is a narrow-minded, indifferent person who rarely shows concern for other people's feelings. She gambles very carelessly, placing enormous wagers with little regard for the potential risk. Midari enjoys developing cruel games in which the loser perishes. She used to play Russian roulette by herself when she was bored.
6. Shou Tucker (Anime: Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood)
Shou Tucker is a narcissist who has little concern for other people's lives. He fooled everyone by maintaining a nice and polite exterior while actually harboring malicious intentions. Shou has spent the majority of his life being unduly preoccupied with his experiments, leaving him no time to spend with his own family. Shou grew into a power-crazed psychopath who was completely selfish, desperate, and morally amoral. His wife and children were also the victims of his experiments, which turned them into chimeras.
5. Keyaru (Anime: Redo of a Healer)
Keyaru became enthralled by the heroes and finally joined them in assisting the less fortunate. But when he witnessed their dark side while being tormented by them while under the influence of drugs, all he wanted was retribution. He used his abilities to exact revenge on each victim one by one, in ways that went beyond the point of no return. Keyaru's greatest hero, Flare, who later turned into his greatest foe, was the person he adored the most. Keyaru had a lot of fun breaking each of Flare's fingers so that they could be fixed and he could start over.

Seryu acquired a vicious sense of justice as a result of Captain Ogre, her mentor and superior, and her father, a member of the Imperial Army, dying at the hands of the Revolutionary Army. She only holds the opinion that the Revolutionary Army is a band of criminals and the corrupt officials of the Empire are blameless. Seryu does not show mercy to people she considers to be criminals. She prefers to kill people in cold blood rather than question them. Seryu physically altered her body with Dr. Stylish's help in order to punish the perpetrators.

When it was discovered that Doma had been clinically apathetic since he was born, it became clear that he was the most warped demon of the 12 Kizuki. Doma is unable to handle emotions. But with time, he was able to gain knowledge of human emotions and the ability to react appropriately to various circumstances. When his father killed his mother during his human existence, he didn't grieve or become angry; instead, he grumbled that the blood on the floor was a mess. Doma eats his own followers and thinks that by letting them live inside of him, he is saving them.
2. Light Yagami (Anime: Death Note)
Before he obtained the Death Note, Light Yagami was just another typical high school student. The light went on a killing spree after discovering the notebook's actual capabilities. He executed every criminal based solely on allegations and declared them unfit to live in this society. With the ability to kill anyone at any time, he became obsessed with being a god. Despite his original desire to destroy the evil that pervaded society, he eventually became hostile to people who were getting in his way. Even his own father's passing was due to him.
1. Johan Liebert (Anime: Monster)
The most psychotic person is Johan Liebert, the titular "Monster" and the series' major antagonist. He was able to manipulate many people because of his carefully created demeanor, who thought he was perfect and out of this world. He has a nihilistic outlook on life and believes that most people's lives are like specks in the distance that vanish in an instant. Instead of instantly killing his victims, he makes them live out their greatest nightmares. In an effort to change the past, he killed his own parents, leaving his twin sister alive.
