How to clear Thornvines in Tower of Fantasy
The supply pod icon for Thornvines will often appear on your minimap when they are approaching your area. It's unfortunate that thornvines like to encircle supply pods because they frequently contain useful items. You will learn some information about these plants the first time you come across one. By selecting the "!" icon to the left of the minimap, you can see this information at a later time. This will offer you the chance to review any earlier advice you may have received.
You learn through reading the game's instructions that Thornvines can catch fire. The news is good. You are granted a fire weapon rather early on in the Tower of Fantasy. If this weapon is still in your possession, you can use it to strike the Thornvines and burn them away. You can pick up a fire core and throw it towards Thornvines to destroy them as well if there are any fire cores around. Though most Thornvines don't have fire cores nearby, don't count on this.
