There are many side tasks in Tower of Fantasy, most of which are uninteresting and unoriginal, but there are a few where things get intriguing, especially when there are options. The Scouting Report is one specific early-game mission that provides that element of choice. This guide will help you finish the Scouting Report quest and tell you about the two possible results.
Walkthrough for Scouting Report side quest
Locate Comez to begin the quest by traveling east of Astra Shelter. You can readily identify him because he will be standing next to the cliff. Talk to him, and it will provide the opportunity to speak with him once more in a different setting. After speaking with him once more, start looking for Una. Una generally hides in a bush where the objective directs you, but she won't be there this time. Then, while you search for Una, you will find her damaged suppressor. In the meantime, Palu will start running your way; go chat with him.
Though he will be concerned that Una might have turned into an aberrant, he will remain hopeful that there is still time. After that, start following Palu; on the road, you'll come across a dead Ravager. You will eventually locate Una after some more walking, but she will already be an aberrant. You must now speak with Palu once more. You will have two options there: to end her suffering or to let her go. If you select option 1, you must kill Una Aberrant, which should only need one or two hits. If you select the second option, your character will decide to spare her and let her be.
Both options will give you two Quantum Cloak shards as a prize. You will also receive some Weapon Battery II and XP points in addition to that.
