In Tower of Fantasy, there are several different upgrade materials available in a variety of rarities. You'll need a lot of mats to make sure that all of your equipment is up to par because upgrading your weapons and equipment is necessary to advance the plot and tackle harder content. When one of your weapons hits level 30 or above, you'll need a lot of materials like nano-coating to keep everything topped off. Sources of Nano Coatings
In the Adventure tab's Interstellar Exploration, Dimensional Trials, and Omnium Beacon Select activities, you can get weapon augmentation box components that are mostly used to create nano coatings. They are a random drop from purple password chest II's, which you need Type II chips to open, and you can buy them from the Weapon Store for one black gold each.
You can only collect vitality so many times each day because access to many select activities requires it. You can buy some Nano coating with Black Gold, which you obtain from pulling gacha banners with Gold Nuclei, but you should spend the majority of it on purchasing weapons to increase the star rating of the ones you already own.
Using Nano Coating
It's time to upgrade once you have some Nano coating and a variety of simulacra weapons that you enjoy utilizing. The only materials you'll need to upgrade your first few weapons are gold, weapon kits, and elemental cores. However, you'll need to use two units of Nano Coating in addition to elemental cores once your weapon of choice reaches level 30. After that, each upgrade requires one more coating before you have to start fusing coatings on rarer items.
One purple-rarity One blue one may be created by fusing four blue ones, and it takes five purple ones to create one yellow one. In order to completely improve your best equipment, you will require dozens, if not hundreds, of nanocoatings.
