Xenoblade Chronicles 3: How to focus your party on one enemy

Because there are so many adversaries in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, combating them can be difficult. Six characters and a hero make up your group, and they are all working together to defend one another. But when your group is engaged in combat with numerous foes that aren't concentrating on a single target, things may get tricky. How to focus fire on an enemy in Xenoblade Chronicles 3

This can be accomplished by selecting a certain setting from the tactics options. You can give orders to all of your party members' characters. You can instruct them to concentrate their fire on a single target as one of your instructions. When you press and hold the ZL button to open the strategy menu, this order will be the first option. "Focus Attacks" will be the option's label. Make sure this selection is highlighted. While this is active, all of the characters in your party will direct their attacks at the adversary you are focusing on, uniting them and assaulting him or her.

The other adversaries can still attack the other members of your party, though. These monsters will probably start assaulting the attacker or healer party members if your tanks are not using AoE aggro attacks, which could lead to extra problems. If you don't have a tank in your primary party, you should consider using your Defender role's AoE aggro strikes. By paying attention to the enemy's directional cues, you can make sure the rest of your group is not being targeted. These are the blue lines that link an adversary to a member of your party. If the line is red, the opponent is trying to hit you.
