Madden NFL 23 has seen significant changes to the online play options in Madden Ultimate Team (MUT). The Weekend League is a thing of the past, replaced by MUT Champions. The Weekend League is comparable to MUT Champions, but the latter's structure is more dispersed. You must have admission to MUT Champions in order to play. The following steps must be taken in order to unlock MUT Champions in Madden 23.
How to unlock access to MUT Champions in Madden NFL 23
Check out the new Field Pass and become familiar with it to unlock MUT Champions. The Madden 23 development team has added a new Competitive Field Pass in addition to the season-based Field Pass. This Field Pass program is intended to be an additional way to earn rewards and gain access to MUT Champions. It will reset every two weeks.
Users will require MUT Champions tokens to gain access. The Competitive Field Pass points that are earned can be used to purchase these tokens. By accomplishing objectives in MUT Champions, Head-to-Head Seasons, and Solo Battles—many of which are stat-and-win-based—you can earn points for the Competitive Field Pass. After clicking on "View All Field Passes" in the Main Menu, choose "Competitive Field Pass" to view the list of currently active objectives.
To use a token after you've unlocked it, go to the Play part of the main menu, choose "Head to Head," and then select the "Champions" option. MUT participants can access the 25-game window from there. EA has announced that MUT Champions will reset on Monday of each week. If you get a MUT Champions token through the Field Pass, you can use it for any MUT Champions weekly event because it doesn't expire.
