The third-person camera will return in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, a feature that has been absent from the venerable military shooter franchise for some time. There will be critics of this point of view, but certain members of the MW2 community will undoubtedly appreciate the fresh viewpoint. How to enable a third-person camera in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Beta

Play one of the recommended playlists with the view enabled in its game modes to unlock the third-person camera view in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta. Unfortunately, none of the third-person views have been included in the early access beta as of this writing. There are only the common first-person shooter game modes available, such as Team Deathmatch, Domination, and the more recent Prisoner Rescue and Knockout variants. The playlist that contains the third-person camera will always be identified, so you'll know where to go when they are added.

The goals will not change when these third-person modes are included in the beta; they will be the same as those in the classic Call of Duty modes. Your view shifting to be behind your operator is the only feature of the game that changes. Even that won't last long, though, since aiming down your weapon's sights will switch the viewpoint to first-person so you may fire more precisely.

Even though the game doesn't yet have third-person perspectives, you may currently change the field of view if you wish to. Go to Graphics in Settings after opening it. Adjust the value for "3rd Person Field of View" by scrolling down. Remember that altering this can cause your framerate to change when the modes activate. Your personal preference will determine whether or not you find the third-person modes enjoyable. You may probably find it a little more difficult to see faraway foes when you are in this mode. In contrast to the first person, peeking around corners and observing what is to your side will be much simpler.
