Can you catch a shiny Celesteela in Pokémon Go?

Does Celesteela have a shiny form in Pokémon Go?

At the end of a raid when Celesteela first appears in Pokémon Go, you won't get a chance to catch a shiny form of it. When Niantic adds a new Pokémon to the game, they typically go with this option. Celesteela is an Ultra Beast, essentially a legendary Pokémon, and these Pokémon often don't get a shiny version until they appear for the second or third time. However, there are occasional exceptions, such as Rockruff's debut as a Raid Pokémon.

The introduction of Celesteela's shining form is anticipated in the future. When it rejoins the five-star raid rotations, it might occur in a year or two. Celesteela's release date and whether it will adhere to the customary glossy release pattern are unknown, though. If Celesteela's shining form has arrived, Niantic will make the announcement, but it probably won't until the other Ultra Beasts have received their shiny versions. Before Celesteela, for instance, were Nihilego, Xurkitee, Pheromosa, and Buzzwole.

These Ultra Beasts are probably going to be the first to get shiny variants before Celesteela does. You won't yet be able to catch Celesteela's shiny variant while battling it in five-star raids. Even in Pokémon Go, this Pokémon is still useful, especially in the Ultra League.
