Destiny 2: Taipan-4FR God Roll guide PvP and PvE

There is a necessary collection of new weaponry to acquire with the start of the Season of Plunder in Destiny 2. Some players may have noticed a brand-new mission that offers two weapon pattern prizes at the Relic on Mars. One, in particular, is the Taipan-4FR, a very potent Linear Fusion Rifle that can roll with some of the strongest perk combinations available in the game at the moment. Here's how to get and construct your very own Taipan firearm.

How to get the Taipan-4FR weapon pattern in Destiny 2

Currently, there are two ways to obtain the Taipan-4FR weapon pattern. The first involves obtaining two random drops from the world treasure pool. Deepsight Resonance can be taken out of the weapon in this case. To achieve the resonance objective, just equip the weapon and score kills when taking part in activities like strikes, gambits, crucibles, or other matchmade activities.

The second approach entails completing the "Foundry Resonance" task given by the Relic on Mars via Savathun's Throne World on the Director. You will first be handed a weapon to create while performing Vanguard Playlist tasks and completing a Deepsight Resonance with it. Once you've finished a match of Dares of Eternity or a Wellspring run and successfully completed its Deepsight Resonance, you'll need to repeat this process with a Taipan-4FR, which is handed to you during those activities. You will need to obtain one more Deepsight extraction from a second Taipan after completing that, although you can complete this one by engaging in any activity. After you finish this stage, go back to the Relic to make the weapon pattern you got from the two Taipans.

The best PvE Taipan-4FR perks in Destiny 2

The greatest perks to select when crafting the weapon would be either Field Prep, Clown Cartridge, or Triple Tap.

  • Field Prep is the most versatile in this situation because it can be used and reloaded faster while squatting. This makes it useful in any situation.
  • A perk called "Clown Cartridge" has a tiny chance to randomly overfill the magazine with additional bullets. Here, the option of having a larger magazine available on demand is still a strong one.
  • You can use Triple Tap to put one round back in the magazine after making quick, accurate hits. This works best when there is a long-lasting target or more than one target in range.

Any of these three perks is a good choice, but once your weapon level is high enough, reshape your weapon to the enhanced versions of these perks.

There are only two really great options for the fourth column: Frenzy and Firing Line

  • When you're dealing focused damage while grouping up in raids like Oryx's encounter in King's Fall or the Sanctified Mind in the Garden of Salvation, Firing Line works best.
  • In the majority of other circumstances, where you find yourself separated from the group, Frenzy, which provides a damage advantage after engaging in active combat with an opponent for a predetermined period of time, is the best option in the majority of other circumstances where you find yourself separated from the group.
  • Focused Fury is the third option, although it requires time and some skill to use it to its full potential and doesn't offer as much of a damage advantage as Frenzy or Firing Line.

The best PvP Taipan-4FR perks in Destiny 2

There are only two key perks to focus on if you opt to carry a Linear Fusion Rifle for PvP: Clown Cartridge in the third column and Snapshot Sights in the fourth column. These advantages are perfect for scooping up heavy ammo quickly and always having a loaded magazine. To increase handling and reload speed, you could also switch to a clown cartridge for field prep. Even so, unless you have the upper hand or are sniping from a great distance, it takes some expertise to crouch in an efficient manner during a PvP fight.
