That Disney Dreamlight Valley has a photo function is not surprising. After all, today practically every game has some kind of photo function. You may start snapping pictures of yourself with all of your favorite Disney characters, like Stitch, Moana, and more, as soon as you have access to this function. You only need to take out your trusty phone. Here is how Disney Dreamlight Valley's photo mode is used.
How to use photo mode in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To enable photo mode, there is nothing special you need to do. After a little passage in the narrative, you will have access to it. You'll need to speak with Merlin when you first arrive in Dreamlight Valley and finish an assignment for him. You'll have access to your house after that's done. You will then be able to access a ton of additional options, including the wardrobe and photo mode. Hold down the tool button to remove your phone. On Switch, R2 on PlayStation, and RT on Xbox, this is the ZR button. Selecting the phone icon will cause your character to take their phone out once the tool wheel has been opened.
Press the Y button on Switch, the X button on Xbox, or the square button on PlayStation to activate it now that you have your phone out. The phone's camera will be automatically switched to selfie mode. From this point, you may change the camera's modes to selfie, full body, or sky view using the bumper buttons. Press the same button you used to turn on your phone to take a picture once you have the shot. Some NPCs will pose with your character if you point the camera at them. Since they pose automatically, be sure to time the snap appropriately.
