FIFA 23: How to play as Ted Lasso and AFC Richmond

It was unexpected to see Ted Lasso in FIFA 23. Before the game's release, actor Jason Sudeikis was mo-capped, and both he and the AFC Richmond team are in FIFA 23. This information was given to the players. The good news is that FIFA 23's primary modes, including Career Mode and FUT, allow you to use the American coach. We've put together a simple guide to explain to you how to play Ted Lasso and AFC Richmond in FIFA 23 because getting access can be confusing for new players.

How to play as Ted Lasso and AFC Richmond in Career Mode

FIFA 23 gives you the chance to transform AFC Richmond from poverty to riches. Although it requires some work, the procedure is rather straightforward. Press up on your left stick to choose "Play as a Real Manager" from the menu when you're beginning a new manager career. The first thing you'll notice on this screen is all of the actual Premier League managers. To find "Rest of the World," browse through the list of countries at the top of the page. Ted Lasso is the manager listed at the bottom right of this list.

Fortunately, you'll be sent to the screen where you may select AFC Richmond as your club when you choose Lasso. You have the option of playing as AFC Richmond without Lasso serving as your manager. Once you've decided on your manager, select "change team" from the menu. Choose the squad that you want to replace in this situation. For instance, you may have Richmond take Barrow's position if you want to raise that city from the bottom of the British pyramid. You must be on the page of the team you want to switch to before pressing Triangle or Y to do so. To swap, just browse the rest of the world page until you discover AFC Richmond, then choose them.

How to play as Ted Lasso in FUT

The management of AFC Richmond can be added to your club in FUT, but you cannot add Jaime Hart or Roy Kent to your ultimate team. In fact, if Lasso isn't your thing, you can also employ Coach Beard. You must enter Moments mode in order to obtain either player. Fortunately, if you don't want to, you don't have to spend a lot of time in Moments. The cost of each manager is merely 4 FUT Stars. To learn them, you only need to spend around 15 minutes working through Moments. If you're a fan of the show, it's not a bad exchange.
