If you count Blue Mage, Final Fantasy 14 has twenty combat-oriented classes, eight crafting classes, and three gathering classes. Feather Iron Ore Prerequisites

After talking to the NPCs that the journal tells you to, you'll be ready to go.
Feather Iron Ore Location
You must travel to the Ruby Sea if you want to get flint iron ore. If you want to save some valuable trip time and don't mind swimming, then Tamamizu is the closest aetheryte to choose from. From there, move toward Hell's Lid, which is located on the map at coordinates x22.5 and y34.5, to the south. There are several mineral reserves in this volcanic area, so you can mine there to get the valuable metal.
You'll require 20 in total, and after mining them, head back to the Goblin NPC. Then adhere it to your journal to finish the task. You won't be able to mine feather iron ore after completing the quest, but since you don't need it for anything else, it's not really a loss.
