With many movies and television shows releasing on Disney+ in September, the streaming service is anticipated to be busy. This will coincide with Disney Plus Day, scheduled for September 8, 2022, when the company's businesses, including Marvel Studios and Lucasfilm, will make a number of updates and announcements. Speaking of the latter, after being postponed at the beginning of last month, they will release their eagerly awaited series, Andor, on the streaming service. However, it was delayed by a full month to avoid competing with The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power on Amazon Prime Video and HBO's House of the Dragon.
Beginning on September 21, 2022, Rebels will be able to watch the adventures of Cassian Andor, with new episodes released every Wednesday after the show's debut. The first three episodes of the show will also be released on an aforementioned day, with episode four following a week later. The series takes place during the founding of the Rebel Alliance, following the prequel trilogy and events that overlap with the original trilogy. Over the course of the show's 12 episodes, viewers may see Andor's transformation from robber to revolutionary and ultimately to rebel.

Star Wars Andor – Episode Runtimes
This series has four more episodes than The Mandalorian and quadruple the episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi, making it the live-action Star Wars project on Disney+ with the most episodes. The show's lead actor, Diego Luna, said in a recent interview that the first three episodes, which will debut on September 21, 2022, will total about two hours.
