The thirteenth objective in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 campaign, Alone, finds you (John "Soap" McTavish) by yourself in a Mexican village that has been overtaken by roving Shadow Company mercenaries (now the bad guys). One of your first goals is to find something you can use for stabbing, as you don't even have a knife or a rifle at the beginning of the quest.
Meeting Ghost at the church is your primary goal for the mission as a whole (so that you're not alone anymore, you miserable thing). But after a time of roaming and plundering, you'll find Shadow Company killing Mexican cops at a massive fountain in the middle of town. Your new goal is to "Find a Sharp Weapon" at this stage. Where is the query?

Drop down into the fountain square once the majority of the Shadows have left, then grab a bottle from the side of the fountain. Toss it to the left so that the merc moves away from the "la dulce" sweets store's entrance, allowing you to pass into the store unnoticed. Before the merc returns, quickly loot the candy shop before escaping through the back door. A mercenary is on guard at an open door opposite the back door. You must use a bottle to divert his attention since he won't move. In order to get him to move away from you, throw it past him and to the right.
Go through the door now open and look for the Shadow Company body slumped at the opposite end of the room. A nearly-new battle knife is poking out of the corpse's neck, which Ghost has left there. You've been hunting for a sharp weapon, and here it is. In order to obtain a gun, you must now use it on someone.
