Despite the fact that New Tales From the Borderlands places a lot of emphasis on decisions and their results, there are occasionally tasks that call for you to look around and find various items. You are given the assignment to locate some Eridium ore to power your device shortly after first meeting Anu, the character you control. Finding it can take some time because Anu forgot where she put it. This article will tell you where to find Eridium Ore in Episode 1 of New Tales from the Borderlands.
Eridium Ore location in New Tales From the Borderlands
Anu is a great scientist who, unfortunately, has such disorganized thinking that she often forgets where she put the priceless mineral that powers her apparatus. She knows shortly after meeting her that she needs to find the Eridium because it isn't on her device. You will then be able to take control of Anu and explore her lab at your leisure in search of the ore.
While in control of Anu, there are three basic interactions you can make:
- You can interact with the Jabber cage.
- You can take a look at the large safe.
- You can speak to Phuong.
Unfortunately, engaging with Phuong or the artifacts won't help you get the Eridium either. But before you can obtain the ore, you'll need to interact with everything in the room. Scan the Safe, Phuong, and Jabber Cage with your tech goggles. Each will require interaction before or after scanning as well. You will then see a quick cutscene with the toolbox on the table. Use the Tech Goggles to scan the toolbox after the cutscene to see a cutscene revealing the Eridium Ore within. Grab the eridium ore out of the toolbox. The gadget is now working, so you can show Rhys how it works.
