While Overwatch 2 will launch in the First Time User Experience with a constrained selection of characters, this will not last for very long. After finishing a specific number of games, you'll be able to play a new hero. There is no need for you to provide any input because the order in which you will receive them is already set. Open Challenges and navigate to the Hero section to view a list of the heroes you will receive and the games you must complete to get them.
Keep playing your matches till the end to make sure you are making progress toward unlocking your heroes. Stay until your screen shows the message of victory or defeat, at which point you are free to depart. Additionally, Quick Play online matchmaking is where these matches must be played. Custom and practice VS AI games are not taken into account. Win as many games as possible to advance twice as quickly towards characters that need more gameplay.
