Pokémon Go: How to complete all Evolving Stars Collection Challenges

The Pokémon Go Evolving Stars event has begun. The celebration honors the progression of the Cosmic Companion Special Research quest as well as the continuing Season of Light story-based event, which stars Cosmog. The second evolution of Cosmog, Cosmoem, should be available to all players, and this is a good time for further secondary evolutions to show up. They come with a number of collection issues. Here's everything you need to know about completing all of Pokémon Go's Evolving Stars Collection Challenges.

Pokémon Go: How to complete all Evolving Stars Collection Challenges

All Evolving Stars Collection Challenges in Pokémon Go

You have four Evolving Stars Collection Challenges to do between October 5 and October 11, which is the duration of the event. Before they go, you have until then to finish these collection challenges. You must finish these four Evolving Stars Collection challenges.

Evolving Stars: Eevee Challenge

You will need to purchase three different Eevees to complete this challenge. Their overall numbers won't matter, but you should make sure to take an Eevee that you haven't had as a buddy. That is just the basics. You have to evolve yours into a Vaporeon, a Jolteon, or a Flareon if it satisfies these conditions. One of these can appear, for instance, by capturing a wild Eevee and then immediately evolving it. This system is random, though, unless you use the Eevee name method, which can only be used once per account.

  • Evolve an Eevee into a Flareon
  • Evolve an Eevee into a Jolteon
  • Evolve an Eevee into a Vaporeon

Evolving Stars: Sinnoh Challenge

Specific Sinnoh Pokémon like Rhydon, Piloswine, Dusclops, and Kirlia are the focus of the second Evolving Stars Challenge. Since they are fundamental evolutions, you must locate their corresponding beginning forms—Rhyhorn, Swinub, Duskull, and Ralts—in the wild. These four Pokémon should all be found in the wild.

  • Evolve a Duskull into Dusclops
  • Evolve a Ralts into a Kirlia
  • Evolve a Rhyhorn into a Rhydon
  • Evolve a Swinub into a Piloswine

Evolving Stars: Trade Challenge

The Evolving Stars Trade Challenge is the third challenge. Kadabra and Haunter must become Alakazam and Gengar, respectively. Although you can evolve these Pokémon with sugar, trading them with another player will allow you to evolve them more quickly. You must, however, double-check that these Pokémon are being sent to you and not another person in the deal. The Pokémon will show up in their whole forms when they get to you.

  • Evolve a Haunter into a Gengar
  • Evolve a Kadabra into an Alakazam

Evolving Stars: Unova Challenge

Tynamo and Litwick, are two Pokémon from the Unova region. As with the Sinnoh challenge, these base Pokémon must be discovered in the wild in order to evolve into their second forms, Eeletrik and Lampent. These two Pokémon will both be found in the wild. Although Litwick is a Ghost and Fire-type, Tynamo is probably easier to find near things that are Electric-type based, so you might discover Litwick at night or in warm places.

  • Evolve Litwick into Lampent
  • Evolve Tynamo into Eeletrik
