God of War Ragnarok: Where to find the Legendary Chest at Althjof’s Rig

In God of War: Ragnarok, there are numerous legendary chests scattered around the nine worlds for you to find. These will increase the useful tools and supplies you can employ on your quest, allowing you to personalize your gameplay. In Svartalfheim, when exploring Althjof's Rig, you can locate one of these chests. What you need to know about Althjof's and Rig's legendary chests in God of War: Ragnarok is provided here.

How to get the legendary chest at Althjof’s Rig in God of War Ragnarok

Althjof's rig is located on the Bay of Bounty's northwest rim. This is one of the rigs you must take down in order to finish Mimir's side quest, "In Service of Asgard." It's located around Alberich Island, but off to the side. The legendary chest will be in the area where you must take out the rig at the top of the screen. To get to this spot, you'll first need to lower the crane and then lower the elevator so you can swing across. Destroy the red barrel once you've crossed to go to the other side.

In order to jump down to the lever once more, climb up to the indicated place to the left of the opening you made and kick down the armor plating. The crane can now be moved to a higher position. However, you must keep going down the road to your right and descend to the lower levels in order to switch platforms.

The next spot you can destroy has an explosive barrel in it. Make your way to the second level by scaling the wall on the left section you uncover. Now that you can bash through the center region, you can descend to the bottom. When you reach the bottom, raise the platform and proceed to the next level. With the elevated platform and the crane, you can now access the third level of this space.

To disassemble the rig, you will need to climb to the top. Once you've completed that, turn to the right, and a pair of Soundstone barrels will be there for you to destroy in order to access a side section. You can get back to where you were by kicking down a gold chain. You can now jump over the opening and smash through the wall on the opposite side if you raise the crane to its highest point, go back to the location you found, and then do so. There will be a legendary chest over there.
