How to join with friends in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Make sure you have a Nintendo Online subscription before attempting to play multiplayer with friends. You can play with friends no matter where they are by forming a group with others who are not on the same network as you.

You can utilize the Poké Portal if you come across your first Pokémon station. Before attempting this, it is advised that you advance through the tutorial region and unlock the open world because the tale prevents you from doing so. Go to the Poké Portal option now from the main menu. The first choice is to decide to create a union group. The name of the multiplayer system will be this.

Next, you have the option of creating or joining a group. If you decide to join a group, another member of your future party must first create a union group. The link code that you see while creating the group at the bottom left must be shared if you are the one creating the union group. Give your friends that code so they can join your group.
