The Pokémon Company unveiled Fidough during August's Pokémon Presents, more than a month before Scarlet and Violet's release.

Players will encounter Fidough, a yellow, doughy dog-like Pokémon, early on in their explorations in Paldea. This fairy type, which is aptly known as the Puppy Pokémon, is rather endearing, and many fans appeared to agree. It develops into a species that resembles a Dachsund, the Dachsbun. Dachsbun's coat appears golden and more baked whereas Fidough is doughy. It has ears that resemble cinnamon buns, just like Fidough, and a collar that is decorated to look like pastries.

How to evolve Fidough into Dachsbun in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Fidough and Dachsbun are both fairy-type Pokémon that look like cute, pasty puppies. Although the Fidough is not the most resilient creature, it is very useful. Although a Dachsbun can also be found in the wild, it's more likely that you'll see Fidough first, and evolving it is a logical next step. The evolution of the dough is not difficult. You won't need to carry around a lot of different goods, and you won't have far to walk. The progression in Fidough is level-based.

At level 26, Fidough will transform into Dachsbun. There are numerous methods for leveling a Pokémon; previously, players could fight other Trainers and Pokémon.
