Sonic Frontiers: How to unlock Fast Travel
Open-world games frequently feature fast travel, and Sonic Frontiers does so with a few original twists. Instead of confined platforming sequences, Sonic Frontiers has expansive open-world environments. It complicates various open-world conventions while adding a Sonic-themed spin to them. Sonic Frontiers can now be played with Fast Travel unlocked.
How to unlock Fast Travel in Sonic Frontiers
Fast Travel is present, but in a unique way, while feeling absent for most of Sonic Frontier's duration. There are two ways to unlock fast travel, both of which involve a significant grind. Filling in the full map by locating all of the antiquated switches and completing the map tasks is the first step in unlocking fast travel. If you come across a challenge in the open world like the one in the image above, those are the keys to unlocking fast travel. Players cannot access the map of any island unless all of these challenges have been completed. Fast Travel will be available for that particular destination if you have finished all of the challenges on a given map.

You can use fast travel to get to any portals and fishing spots, even ones you've never been to before. While not simple, this approach is dependable and doesn't rely on the chance the way the second approach does. The second approach entails fishing. Take any purple coins you find buried in the environment and bring them to a fishing location. You'll learn how to play the fishing minigame from Big the Cat. You have a chance to find a Koco Scroll while fishing. You can use these things to go to Hermit or Elder Koco at a certain place. While neither of these methods is particularly fast, they work once you’ve put in the legwork to unlock them. Make sure to complete every challenge to unlock fast travel quickly.
