2021 MTV EMA Nominations Complete list

The MTV EMA Nominations for 2021 are led by Justin Bieber. With six nods each, Doja Cat and Lil Nas X are the runners-up. Bieber is up for eight awards, including two for song of the year. For his big hits "Peaches" (starring Daniel Caesar and Giveon) and "Stay," he is a finalist in that category (a collab with The Kid Laroi). For "Sorry," Bieber won in that category five years ago.

JB is followed by Doja Cat and Lil Nas X, who each received six nods, as well as Ed Sheeran, Olivia Rodrigo, and The Kid Laroi, who each received five nods.

Lady Gaga, who won the prize for best artist last year, is nominated again in that category, along with Doja Cat (best new artist winner last year), Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, Lil Nas X, and The Weeknd.

Taylor Swift, who won best video two years ago for her collaboration with Brendon Urie, "ME!" is nominated for "willow" this year. Bieber is up for the prize again this year, this time for "Peaches," which he shared with DJ Khaled and Drake last year.

On Sunday, Nov. 14, at 3 p.m. ET, the 2021 MTV EMA will take place in the Papp László Budapest Sportaréna in Hungary and will be televised live on MTV stations in 180 countries. The show's executive producers are Bruce Gillmer and Richard Godfrey. Producers are Debbie Phillips and Chloe Mason.
