Gigi Hadid And Zayn Malik Reportedly Have Broken Up

Multiple sources have verified to People that Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik's romance is ended for the time being. The story comes just hours after the media reported that Gigi's mother, Yolanda, claimed Zayn "struck" her. In a statement, Zayn "adamantly" denied the claim.

After nearly six years of on-again, off-again dating, Gigi and Zayn have called it quits. In late 2019, the two reignited their romance for the first time. Khai, their daughter, was born in September 2020.

"Gigi and Zayn are not together right now," a Hadid family friend told People. They are, however, both excellent parents. They share parental responsibilities. Of course, Yolanda is very protective of Gigi. "She only wants the best for her granddaughter and daughter."

Following Zayn's apology and the allegation of him striking Yolanda breaking this afternoon, a spokeswoman for Gigi made a brief statement on her behalf. Gigi, 26, and Malik, 26, are said to have separated up because of the feud, according to the outlet.

Malik hoped Yolanda would "reconsider her false charges and strive towards repairing these family issues in private" in his statement.
