Miss Fortune Ultimate Guide: The Best League of Legends Runes, Builds, and Tips & Tricks

In League of Legends Season 11, Miss Fortune is the best meta AD carry. Would you like to pick her up like a pro? We've put together the comprehensive Miss Fortune guide, complete with the best runes, builds, and tips and tricks, so you can become a master of the Bounty Hunter in no time. Miss Fortune is the choice that has defined the League of Legends Season 11 meta – at least until the end of 2021.

In pro play, ranked play, and casual play alike, the Bounty Hunter has become the most highly fought AD carry.

If you want to take advantage of the craze, we've put together the comprehensive Miss Fortune guide, along with the best runes, builds, and tips and tricks for mastering her. You'll be able to benefit from it whether you're timing her for the first time or already have Mastery 7.

Who is Miss Fortune?

Miss Fortune is one of Bilgewater's most dreaded commanders. Her entire life goal was to exact vengeance on Gangplank for murdering her family, which she accomplished by blowing up his flagship, and to depose him from the Bilgewater throne.

Miss Fortune, an AD carry on Summoner's Rift, puts her parents' craftsmanship as firearm forgers to good use, mowing down adversaries with twin hand-cannons.

Miss Fortune's skills and gameplay

In comparison to the others, Miss Fortune is a more ability-focused AD carry. In Season 11, she, on the other hand, is in a league of her own. Miss Fortune is a formidable lane bully as well as a late-game hyper-carry danger. She is strong at all times of the game. With her Q and E, she can poke foes in the lane, and her rapid movement speed makes trading or engaging back very impossible.

She also plays at range, so you'll have to use large flashes and gap closers to try to stop her. However, chasing her down will be difficult, as her Strut movement speed advantage is superior to backing and purchasing boots (which allows her to take Magical Footwear as a rune).

She's a team-fighting threat late in the game. Bullet Time causes a lot of damage, and when combined with Make It Rain's slow (and other crowd control from friends), it's very impossible to get away. Miss Fortune's primary flaw is a lack of speed to get away from assassins, however she counters this by using Exhaust as her second Summoner Spell after Flash.

Because the damage in lane is so high, you should focus on maxing your Q first as Miss Fortune. Miss Fortune only uses her E to slow down adversaries, therefore W max second is ideal for movement speed as well.

Passive: Love Tap — Miss Fortune deals bonus physical damage whenever she basic attacks a new target.

Q: Double Up — Miss Fortune fires a bullet at an enemy, damaging them and a target behind them. Both strikes can also apply Love Tap

W: Strut — When Miss Fortune isn't assaulted, she gains passive Movement Speed. For a limited time, this ability can be used to offer extra Attack Speed. Love Taps reduces Strut's remaining cooldown while it's on cooldown.

E: Make It Rain – Miss Fortune unleashes an area filled with bullets, inflicting waves of damage and slowing opponents.

R: Bullet Time – Miss Fortune fires a barrage of bullets into a cone in front of her, inflicting massive damage on her foes. Each wave of Bullet Time has the potential to be devastating.

Best Miss Fortune builds

There are two varieties of Miss Fortune builds, each with a particular playstyle for the AD carry. She may be used as a Lethality AD carry, with her ultimate slicing through enemies, or as a more typical carry, with auto-attacks doling out the agony.

Both builds rely on critical strike chance, which is the same stat in both versions. It helps the Lethality build cleave through adversaries with large waves of Bullet Time, whilst the standard build concentrates on big Double Ups. The Collector and Infinity Edge are must-haves to optimise the efficiency of both.

If you're going for the Lethality build, though, Eclipse as your Mythic will help you double down on the damage while also providing some sustain (with Arcane Comet, but more on runes later). Galeforce will appeal to more traditional builds because of the added mobility it provides (with Press The Attack).

Because the Lethality build emphasises her skills, Youmuu's Ghostblade for mobility and Serylda's Grudge for slow are essential. Lord Dominik's Regards helps in this department because the traditional build is a little better at knocking down tanks.

The thing about Miss Fortune's runes is that you have to choose one of two builds from champion pick. Take Arcane Comet and run the Lethality build if you don't like squishes. Take Press The Attack and run the more traditional build if you have a few extra tanks to deal with.

Season 11's top meta Miss Fortune build

  • Mythic: Eclipse (if going Comet) / Galeforce (if going Press The Attack)
  • Boots: Berserker’s Greaves / Plated Steelcaps (if against heavy AD)
  • The Collector
  • Infinity Edge
  • Lord Dominik’s Regards (if going Galeforce)
  • Youmuu’s Ghostblade (if going Eclipse)
  • Serylda’s Grudge (if going Eclipse)
  • Mortal Reminder (if you need healing cut)
  • Guardian Angel (once you max out your build)

Best Miss Fortune runes

Miss Fortune's game plan is ultimately defined by the runes you take, as we stated at the end of the build phase. You'll require Arcane Comet if you're playing against squishies. You'll almost certainly land the comet off the back of Make It Rain, which helps with lane harass. Manaflow Band (combined with Biscuit Delivery) helps with her mana troubles, while Absolute Focus boosts her powers at the outset of fights when she's still in good health.

Press The Attack is superior against tanks since it boosts your ability to cleave through their health bars. Overheal and Legend: Bloodline are useful for sustaining, although Miss Fortune's mana issues will require Biscuit Delivery.

You don't want to mix your builds (for example, taking Press The Attack and running a Lethality build), so stick to your runes' game plan to get the most out of Miss Fortune.
