Crossovers between Genshin and Impact are nothing new, but the recent pattern between Ella Musk and Elon Musk is odd. Elon Musk has over 60 million Twitter followers and is a well-known personality in American society for his work on many projects. Although Genshin Impact is one of the most popular games in the world, most players were confused by their recent crossover attempt.

Ella Musk is a non-player character in Genshin Impact who has nothing to do with Elon Musk. She spends most of her time there studying the Hilichurlian language. Her name sounds a lot like Elon Musk's, and she's been around since the beginning.

Since then, the original community challenge has been removed. It contained a second Twitter account, Ella Musk (@Paimon2theMoon), as well as various challenges based on how many people followed it.

Ella Musk's Twitter account has a following of 71.4K people. The official Genshin Impact account has only 2.4 million followers. As a result, it was most likely a meme challenge that didn't go as planned.

The challenge elicited a variety of responses from the Genshin Impact community. Some felt it was a joke, while others thought miHoYo was wasting their time on insignificant matters.

Some fans argue that miHoYo has lost a lot of goodwill as a result of the Anniversary event's mishandling. As a result, attempting to have a good time with a divided community backfired.

Elon's Tweet received a lot more attention than his other tweets. Elon Musk also answered a few tangential inquiries, such as which animes he would recommend to others and a Starlink query.

Elon Musk's Tweet drew only a few responses, including Ella Musk. Ella Musk's response, like the original community challenge, is no longer available. Her account has now been relegated to featuring content creators.

Overall, there isn't much activity on the account. Its first and last visible posts were on September 7, 2021, and September 8, 2021, respectively, before taking a hiatus. The Twitter account remained silent until October 13, 2021, when it posted something unconnected to the latest Twitter drama.

Who is Ella Musk?

Ella Musk in Genshin Impact has little resemblance to Elon Musk other than a similar name. In Genshin Impact, the Musk family studies Hilichurl languages, and there are two known members that players may see in-game.

Ella Musk is one of them, and she is Dr. Edith's older sister (strangely, Ella uses a child model, and Dr. Edith uses an adult model). The former is based in Mondstadt and appears in a few Hilichurl Commissions.

Ella Musk's Twitter account is a verified account. As a result, it's not some random fan-made account trolling. Her most recent public post is as follows:
