Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.5 Update: Release Date, PS4, Download Size, and More Details

Despite a tumultuous start in the gaming business, Cyberpunk 2077 remains one of the most popular titles on the market today, even in late 2021. Unless you've been living under a rock, you'll be aware that Cyberpunk 2077 had a shaky launch, with many players, particularly those on PS4, seeing a slew of issues and malfunctions that impeded their gameplay from the start.

Cyberpunk 2077 Release Date

Although no official date for the 1.5 Patch has been set, we do know that it will be released in early 2022. As previously stated, CD Projekt Red President Adam Kiciski indicated that no more updates will be released in 2021 and that the game will undergo big changes in 2022.

"We will no longer be delivering any updates to the game this year," Kiciski said in an interview with Polish Rzeczpospolita (translated). We're hard at work on a version for the latest console generation, which will be delivered in the first quarter of 2022 alongside a major update - patch 1.5.

"The decision to postpone the next-gen version of Cyberpunk was difficult, but we are convinced that it was right, the more so because it clearly resulted from the recommendation of our development team."

PS4

At this moment, it is unknown whether the 1.5 Patch will just be available for the Xbox Series X/S and PS5, or if it will also be available for the Playstation 4/PS4 and Xbox One. Fans of the previous generation of consoles have been pummelling by Cyberpunk 2077's problems and malfunctions, so they'll be hoping that CDPR makes up with the next round of updates.

Size of the Download

We don't yet know how large the Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.5 download will be, but given how much of the game still needs to be fixed, it's likely to be quite large. As soon as CD Projekt Red confirms the download size of Patch 1.5 Update for Cyberpunk 2077, we'll update this page.
