Genshin Impact 2.3: Best characters for the new artifact sets

Developers unveiled two new artefact sets during the Genshin Impact 2.3 webcast, which will be released with the next update on November 24. Gamers will be able to farm the 'Husk of Opulent Dreams' and 'Ocean-Hued Clam' relics in Genshin Impact starting with version 2.3. On Seirai Island, these two sets will be available in a new artefact domain. The purpose of these relics has already been disclosed during the Livestream, prompting gamers to speculate which characters will profit the most from their use.

Best characters for the new artifact sets in Genshin Impact 2.3

On November 24, Genshin Impact 2.3 will be published, and the new artefact domain will most likely be available on the same day. Players are now speculating on which characters will benefit the most from the new artefacts.

Best characters to use the 'Husk of Opulent Dreams' artifacts

The 'Husk of Opulent Dreams' artefact set will fit Geo characters whose attacks scale off their defence because of its set perks. This artefact set comes with a two-piece bonus that increases a character's defence by 30%. Furthermore, when a character deals Geo damage on-field, the 4-piece bonus buffs them.

Each of the four pieces of the boost stacks up to four times, granting 6% greater protection and 6% extra Geo damage. The character will get a stack every three seconds they are off-field. The character will lose a stack if they do not gain one in six seconds. Albedo, Noelle, and the future character Arataki Itto are all Genshin Impact characters who can benefit from Husk of Opulent Dreams.

Albedo's Elemental Skill deals continual off-field Geo damage, making it easy for him to keep the 4-piece buffs. Because this ability scales off of defence, the Husk of Opulent Dreams' 2-piece bonus will be beneficial as well.

Noelle's skill damage and shield damage absorption scale off of defence as well. Her Elemental Burst also gives her an ATK boost based on defence as she attacks for Geo damage. As a result, Noelle players may soon discover that the 'Husk of Opulent Dreams' is one of the best artefact alternatives.

Arataki Itto, the forthcoming 5-star character in Genshin Impact, could benefit greatly from the Husk of Opulent Dreams artefacts. His Elemental Burst, like Noelle's, converts his attacks into Geo damage and gives him an ATK boost based on his defence. Arataki Kesagiri, Itto's unique charged strike, will scale off defence thanks to one of his passive abilities.

Best characters to use the 'Ocean-Hued Clam' artifacts

The 'Ocean-Hued Clam' relics are likely to be Kokomi's best-in-slot choice. Other dedicated healers, such as Barbara and Qiqi, may also work well with this combination, however, it's uncertain if this is the ideal option. The artefacts will come with a two-piece bonus that increases healing by 15%. In the meanwhile, as many Genshin Impact players have pointed out, the 4-piece bonus is a mouthful.

In summary, whenever the character cures someone, the 4-piece bonus will create a 'Sea-Dyed Foam.' It will build up healing for three seconds before bursting. All party members will be healed for 50% of the Foam's total healing when it explodes. Enemies will also be injured for 90% of the healing collected.

The Sea-Dyed Foam has the ability to store up to 30,000 HP. Characters can theoretically be healed for up to 15,000 HP while opponents can be harmed for up to 27,000 damage. Many Genshin Impact players have expressed their dissatisfaction with Kokomi's damage figures. Hopefully, the 'Ocean-Hued Clam' artefacts will provide Watatsumi's leader with a much-needed boost.
