With Kanye West's recent reconciliation with Drake at Drizzy's home in Toronto, it appears like hip-hop is ending the year on a happy note. Kanye West stunned the world tonight (Nov. 16) when he shared an unexpected selfie of himself, Drake, and J Prince on Instagram, seemingly confirming that his feud with the 6 God is resolved. The post was captioned with a dove emoji by Yeezy.

Drake quickly followed up with a two-video carousel post on Instagram, the first of which featured comedian Dave Chappelle giving a speech.

Chappelle said, "You have to admit to yourself, this shit is impressive. I cannot believe I'm in a nigga's house. A nigga from this city that did not grow up this way. Tonight, he brought some of the biggest stars on Earth to his home. Kanye West is in his home...Dave Chappelle is in his home. This is Canada. It's what the Black American calls the finish line. Niggas ran from slavery to this place. And tonight, we feel free in my nigga's home. My God, man."

Drizzy's "Knife Talk" featuring 21 Savage and Project Pat off his Certified Lover Boy album plays in the background in the second footage, which shows Drake and Kanye enthusiastically embracing each other.

There were speculations that Drake and Kanye had made peace tonight at Dave Chappelle's gig in Toronto, prior to Drake and Kanye announcing that all is good between them. DJ Trauma, the comic's DJ, tweeted a photo on his Instagram Story of a gigantic mansion with the remark, "Wow Drake has a big house who would've guessed?"

"Just witnessed Drake and Kanye's reconciliation last night what a night for hip hop," the statement said.

There have also been allegations that Ye and Drizzy had dinner together, although these have yet to be proven.

The reconciliation between Ye and Drizzy comes after a three-year rap feud between the two rhymers. It's unclear what brought the men together, although there had been speculation that they could try to break things up in order to gather support for Gangster's Disciples co-founder Larry Hoover's release. Their union may have surprised some, but it was expected by others, especially given the olive branch. In a video featuring Rap-A-Lot CEO J Prince, Yeezy presented an offer to the Canadian artist on Nov. 6.

Kanye added in the video, which shows him reading a text message from an iPhone, "This is Ye and J Prince. I'm making this video to address the ongoing back and forth between myself and Drake. Both me and Drake have taken shots at each other and it's time to put it to rest."

He continued: "I'm asking Drake on Dec. 7 to join me on stage as a special guest to share the two biggest albums of the year, live in Los Angeles, with the ultimate purpose to free Larry Hoover. I believe this event will not only bring awareness to our cause but prove to people everywhere how much more we can accomplish when we lay our pride to the side and come together."

Drake's tumultuous battle with Kanye is a one-time occurrence stemming from Drizzy's unsolved concerns with Pusha T. Drake issued "Duppy Freestyle" after his lengthy feud with King Push, which addressed charges that he wrote for Kanye and slammed Yeezy's friendship with Virgil Abloh, the artistic director of Louis Vuitton's menswear collection.

Kanye was once quoted as saying that Virgil landed a job with the brand after attempting to work with high-end fashion houses.

Drake also claimed that Kanye West informed Pusha T about his son, which Push utilized as ammunition in his diss hit "Story of Adidon."

Drizzy and Kanye's feud continued this year, especially around the releases of Ye's Donda and Drake's Certified Lover Boy, with Yeezy allegedly leaking Drake's home address. Meanwhile, the Grammy Award-winning MC slammed Ye on his CLB tune "7am in Bridle Path," leaked a Kanye diss track directed at OutKast's André 3000, and more.

Despite the years of back-and-forth insults, Drake and Kanye both understood the broader picture and were able to patch things up.
