Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer the multiverse of enemies

Peter Parker is thrown headfirst into the multiverse in the latest trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home. The first image, which was revealed on Tuesday, provides fans a taste of the chronological mayhem that will be unleashed when the film is released on December 17th.

This trailer finally displays the full expanse of Marvel's Spider-Man multiverse after months of teasing. Tom Holland's Peter Parker is pitted against the villains from previous films when Doctor Strange casts a spell to make people forget he is Spider-Man. Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina), Electro (Jamie Foxx), and the Green Goblin (Jamie Foxx) are among the cast members (Willem Dafoe).

Eddie Brock and his Symbiote friend Venom are one figure we don't see in the trailer. There's no word on whether Tom Hardy will feature in the film, but we do know that he'll be in the same universe as Tom Holland's Spider-Man.  

Eddie and Venom are transported to a new reality in the Venom: Let Their Be Carnage after-credits sequence, presumably by the Dr. Strange spell from the original No Way Home Trailer. They watch J.K. Simmons reveal Peter Parker's secret identity once they arrive, confirming that they've finally made it into the MCU — even if they're not in this trailer.

Jon Watts returns to direct Spider-Man: No Way Home, with a cast that includes Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau, and Marisa Tomei. It is supposed to be the "end" of the franchise, as Holland has stated.  

In October, the performer remarked, "I think if we were lucky enough to dig into these characters again, you'd be seeing a totally different version." "It wouldn't be the Homecoming trilogy anymore." We'd give it some time and try to come up with something unique that would modify the tone of the flicks. I'm not sure if it will happen or not. But we were absolutely treating [No Way Home] as if it were coming to a close, and it did."
