In Genshin Impact, Gorou's Hangout quest is unusual in that it mainly involves a character named Ms. Hina and her fan club. Gorou had no idea who Ms. Hina was at first, but he and the Traveler had heard a lot about her. They encounter her fan group, which leads to them discovering who she is.

Yae Miko invented the pen name Ms. Hina for Gorou. Ms. Hina's Fanclub assumed the two characters were related because her design resembled that of a feminine Gorou. The truth is that Ms. Hina is a fictitious character.

Some allusions to Ms. Hina can be seen in the YouTube video above. She made her appearance in Genshin Impact 2.3 as part of Gorou's Hangout quest but in an unusual way. The character is essentially a pen name based on Gorou's initials from the Hangout Event.

Yae Miko created her as a ruse to increase sales of "That's Life." She has a public cutout, which has increased her popularity among those who read the magazine's advice column. The player even makes her debut, with a large portion of her fanbase anticipating it.

Ms. Hina's role in Genshin Impact

There's a hint that Gorou is working as a ghostwriter for Ms. Hina. Gorou tells the player that he isn't an expert when it comes to love. The Fanclub later in the Hangout quest complains about how awful her romantic advice is.

Gorou has unwittingly penned hundreds of responses. Some members of the Fanclub even noticed a resemblance between Gorou and Ms. Hina. It even makes them wonder if they're related through blood.

Gorou's Hangout quest

Ms. Hina's position in Genshin Impact is amusing, but she isn't featured in all of Gorou's Hangout quest lines. The major one, which features her, also awards the aforementioned achievement to players.

The Secret Identity route is the one to take. The majority of Ms. Hina's lore originates from there, such as the player discovering Gorou has been writing for her the entire time. She's also referenced in passing in A Friend's Path.

Hiroaki, a member of the resistance, wishes to defect down that path. Ms. Hina, it appears, gave him the courage to ask Gorou to do so. Surprisingly, the latter agrees to let him go. The other pathways deal with events unrelated to Ms. Hina in Genshin Impact.
