Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello Break Up After 2 Years Of Dating

Although Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello's friendship is "stronger than ever," their romance is not. After dating for more than two years, the pop singers confirmed their breakup on Wednesday, Nov. 17. "Hey people, we've decided to stop our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever," Camila and Shawn posted on their Instagram Stories.

"We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends," the statement continued. "We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward."

For fans of the "Senorita" singers, the news came as a surprise, as Shawn and Camila appeared more in love than ever on Halloween. In honor of the Day of the Dead, the couple dressed up in matching Folklorico attire.

The duo have been practicing together since they began dating in July 2019. Shawn and Camila moved into a Miami home together during the coronavirus pandemic, where they virtually played their hit song.

The couple has been caught kissing on the beach in recent weeks. After all, it appears that this Cinderella princess will not have her happily ever after with this Prince Charming.
