Travis Scott emote was removed from the Fortnite Daily Shop After the concert tragedy

After the tragic concert disaster in the United States over the weekend, Epic Games removed a Travis Scott-themed song emote from the battle royale game Fortnite. Travis Scott performed at the Astroworld festival recently, and a stampede inside claimed the lives of eight people. During the first night concert at Astroworld in Houston, Texas, more than 300 individuals were also hurt. According to accounts in the local media, the concert site's entry was breached, and a large number of people without tickets entered, overcrowding the auditorium and causing the stampede.

Epic Games was forced to remove certain music emote from the game as a result of this but did not disclose why it was removed from the Item Shop. The Out West emote, which contained a sample of licensed music from Out West by Travis Scott and Jackboys, was the music emote. It was one of the Item Shop's featured goods.

Fans of the game have applauded the removal of the music emote as a gesture of respect for those who perished in the disaster. Those who already have them, however, cannot be stopped in any way. Some fans have already requested that Epic Games take action, or at the very least temporarily lock the skins.

Fortnite is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox One S, Android, and Nintendo Switch.
