Genshin Impact 2.3 update maintenance, release date, and time

The release date, character banners, and weapon banners for version 2.3 updates were all just revealed by Genshin Impact. On November 22, miHoYo made the announcement on her social media sites. Players now have a better idea of when the update will take place and what to expect once it is completed. Shadow Amidst Snowstorms, the main event for version 2.3, was also mentioned in the announcement. The duration, eligibility, and gameplay features of the event were revealed.

Maintenance, release date, and time for the Genshin Impact 2.3 update

In a few days, Genshin Impact version 2.3 will be released, and the creators will begin updating the game. The update maintenance will begin on November 24, 2021, at 6:00 a.m. (UTC +8), according to the official website of Genshin Impact. The upgrade maintenance is expected to take five hours and will likely end at 11:00 a.m. (UTC +8) when the servers will reopen and gamers will be able to begin playing the new version.

For every hour that the servers are down, players will receive 60 Primogems. The amount of compensation will not change if the upgrade is done early. In other words, once the maintenance is completed, gamers will receive at least 300 Primogems.

Dragonspine event 'Shadows Amidst Snowstorms' in Genshin Impact 2.3

The main event for Genshin Impact 2.3 was unveiled as Shadow Amidst Snowstorms. The Dragonspine event will begin at 10:00 a.m. on November 25, 2021, and end three weeks later at 03:59 a.m. on December 13, 2021.

Players can take part if they meet the following requirements:

• Reach Adventure Rank 20 or above
• Complete the Archon Quest 'For a Tomorrow Without Tears'
• Complete Albedo's Story Quest 'Princeps Cretaceous: Act I - Traveler Observation Report'
• Complete Joel's 'Lost in the Snow' Event Quest

During the Dragonspine event, players can participate in 'Born of the Snow' gameplay and complete several challenges in the Dragonspine area for a variety of rewards, including:

• Event exclusive four-star sword Cinnabar Spindle
• Primogems
• Crown of Insight
• Event exclusive Weapon Refinement Materials
• Weapon Ascension Materials
• Talent Level-Up Materials
• Hero's Wit
• Mora
• Mystic Enhancement Ore

Cinnabar Spindle is a four-star sword with secondary stats of DEF. In addition, dependent on the wielder's protection, the weapon's passive skill concentrates on Elemental Skill damage.
