At least three people were killed by Tornadoes in Tennessee

According to the Obion County Emergency Management Director, three persons died overnight in Obion and Lake counties after two different storms. One person died in Obion County, and two more perished in Lake County, according to him. A mobile home park in the Samburg region was also struck, as was the resort at Cypress Point, resulting in multiple catastrophic injuries.  

When the sun comes up, the EMA said they'll have a better understanding of the damage. Tornadoes were also reported elsewhere in the Mid-South due to a powerful line of severe storms. According to the Dyer County Emergency Management Agency, a convenience shop was destroyed, and several persons inside were injured. The top of a plant in town was also damaged.

At least two individuals were killed in the tornado outbreak in Arkansas on Friday night. One person died in a Monette care home, and another died at a Dollar General in Leachville.
