KYTC provides updates of roads closed due to storm damage in several western Kentucky counties

Storm damage response is being assisted by KYTC workers in numerous western Kentucky counties. Graves and Marshall counties, according to the KYTC, are in need of the most help.

"Due to the widespread damage and severity of damage overnight travel is not advised along I-69 and parallel routes in Marshall County or Graves County," a statement from the KYTC said.

Traffic is currently being re-routed I-69 between Benton and Mayfield.

The following are some of the other closures in the Local 6 area:

• Between the KY 131 Mayfield Exit and the U.S. 641-Spur Exit 41 Interchange at Benton, a large power line is down near the Mayfield Airport and the Graves-Marshall County Line.
• Around the 34 to 37 mile marker on I-69 between Benton and Mayfield, there is a shutdown.
• KY 93 South is currently closed between Barrett Road and Eddy Creek Marina due to a downed power line, according to the Lyons County Judge Executive.
• Houses and farm structures in the Cayce neighborhood along KY 94, KY 239, and KY 166 have been severely damaged, according to Fulton County. KY 94 between US 51 and Hickman has been reopened after trees were cleared.
• Between Princeton and Dawson Springs, U.S. 62 remains closed in Caldwell County.
• South of Princeton, KY 293 is closed.
