Final Fantasy XIV Heavensturn 2022: Start Date, Free Items, and More
It might seem strange to imply that the New Year has been postponed. But that is exactly the case for Final Fantasy XIV's Heavensturn event. Havensturn, like patch 6.01, will be delayed slightly from its original release date. This delay will allow players to enjoy everything Endwalker has so far introduced to the game, including the new raid.
Heavensturn's return will be accompanied by a few new event items. Along with the new products, certain items from the previous year's Heavensturn are returning. Let's talk about when the Final Fantasy XIV Heavensturn event will return and what it will deliver.
When does Heavensturn begin?
Heavensturn will return to Final Fantasy XIV just a few days after the Starlight Celebration concludes on the 31st. The event will start on January 5th, following the release of patch 6.05 on January 4th. Players will have plenty of time to complete the new raid and prepare for the Savage version of the raid, which will be released with patch 6.05.
What items can you get?
While last year's items will be available for purchase on the Mogstation on the 31st, this year's free items will require you to finish the event's short questline. The products for this year are a helmet with two versions and a wonderful house wall divider. The helmets are samurai-styled headgear with a tiger's head on top. The wall divider has a drawing of a tiger in a mountain range, which is typical to many far eastern patterns.
You must finish the event questline that begins at Limsas Lominsa's Upper Decks in order to obtain both of these items. This event's NPC can be found in the Upper Decks' town square, which is also home to many other event NPCs.
The square is located at X:11.5 Y:13.9, which is just southeast of Maelstrom's main building. The event quest lines are typically short, but if you do get stuck, be sure to check out our other tutorials.
