Final Fantasy XIV: How to get Astral Totems

The cash you earn by completing a number of Final Fantasy XIV dungeons and trials is essential for unlocking specific pieces of equipment and raising your character's average item level. The more powerful your character is, the more difficult content they can handle. If you wish to unlock more powerful accessories for your character's career, you'll need to get Astral Totems in Final Fantasy XIV's Endwalker expansion. In Final Fantasy XIV, this article will explain how to obtain Astral Totems.

Only after finishing The Minstrel's Ballard: Zodiark's Fall will you be able to obtain Astral Totems. You can access this version of the trial by finishing the Endwalker expansion's final Main Story Quest, and then speaking with the Wandering Minstrel, an NPC in Old Sharlayan. They can be found at coordinates (X:12.7, Y:14.1).  

When you find them, you'll be able to tell them about your battles with Zodiark and Hydaelyn. After you've detailed your battle against Zodiark, the high-end duty will become available. However, Zodiark's Fall is only possible if you're employing a level 90 Job, and an average item level of at least 560 is recommended. To get there, you'll need to complete all of the Moonward armor parts as well as the additional level 90 dungeons and Daily Duty roulette content.  

Then, when you're ready, you'll earn them by completing the Extreme Trial with the group aiming to face Zodiark's Fall.
