Final Fantasy XIV: Where to get Chi Bolts

The Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker expansion brings the game's decade-long storyline to a close. There are plenty of new horses, exclusive awards, and locales to check out as you travel through the Main Story Scenario and return to them after beating it, thanks to the advent of Endwalker. If you're looking for Chi Bolts, a resource found in Endwalker, you'll need to follow a few simple procedures to locate the creature that drops them. To locate Chi Bolts in Final Fantasy XIV, follow the steps below.

We recommend completing the Main Scenario Questline in the Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker expansion and obtaining all Aether Currents in Ultima Thule before seeking Chi Bolts. Completing these steps will help you achieve your goal.

After you've completed that, you'll have to play the waiting game. Unfortunately, the Chi Bolts are related to Chi, a FATE Boss that spawns during the Omicron Recall: Killing Order FATE and appears in Ultima Thule. To activate this FATE, you must wait for two FATEs to spawn around the Base Omicron site. It should occur if Chi can spawn is not on cooldown.

Chi spawns on The Lost Hydraulic Land, which is located right north of Ostrakon Deka-Hexi at coordinates (X:34.1, Y:21.1). Unfortunately, you can only get to this region if you have a flying mount, therefore unlocking all of Ulta Thule's Aether Currents is a must.

Each server in the Boss FATEs usually has a timer. Following your server's time is a good approach to keep track of this. To fight Chi, you and a huge group of players will need to work together, and there's a chance you'll receive Chi Bolts if you participate. If you receive a Silver Medal of Completion, you will receive one Chi Bolt, but if you receive a Gold Medal of Completion, you will receive five.
