Genshin Impact 2.4 Updates: Liyue character skins and Mondstadt skins later

According to rumors, Genshin Impact will resurrect the Lantern Rite event in version 2.4, along with new character skins. New skins for Ningguang and Keqing are expected in version 2.4, according to Genshin Impact leakers. These two characters could be given new clothes that are inspired by the Lantern Rite celebration. The next character skins, beyond version 2.4, are said to be for yet-unknown Mondstadt characters.

Genshin Impact to add Liyue character skins in 2.4 and Mondstadt skins later

UBatcha, a Genshin Impact leaker, revealed in early October that Keqing and Ningguang would receive new character skins in version 2.4. Other leakers have now backed up this claim, revealing even more specifics about the future clothes.

Uncle Dumb Dumb, a leaker, claims that Keqing's skin will be dubbed "Opulent Splendor" and that it will seem like an evening gown. Keqing's clothing, according to the leaker, is evocative of Herrscher of Reason Bronya from Honkai Impact 3rd.

Meanwhile, Ningguang's skin is expected to be called "Orchid's Evening Gown," according to leaks. As a result, both Liyue characters are likely to acquire similar attire, similar to how Jean and Barbara received summer clothes in version 1.6.

Keqing's skin will obviously cost Genesis Crystals, whereas Ningguang's costume is available for free via the Lantern Rite activities. This is a plausible leak, given 4-star Barbara received a free costume whereas 5-star Jean had to pay for her clothing.
